Spring Gatherings 2020
The God Who SpeaksUnfortunately, due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have been forced to postpone our Spring Gathering events this year.
We hope to reschedule these days and will provide updated information as soon as this is available.
Society of Saint Gregory will be holding a series of spring gatherings with talks, liturgies (Morning Prayer and Mass) and workshops.
With 2020 designated as The Year of the Word, there will be a particular focus on celebrating, living and sharing God’s Word. All are welcome, whether members or not, particularly anyone involved in parish ministry.
Each day will begin with Morning Prayer at 10.30am (registration from 10.00am) followed by a talk focusing on Pope Francis’ recent message, exhorting us to “Make room in your lives for the Word of God”. Through our talk and workshops, we will delve into the rich treasure of the scriptures and consider their relevance for us today and how we can respond to this through our liturgy and music. Each day will culminate with the celebration of Mass at 3.30pm.
The cost is £15 per person (a simple soup lunch will be provided). You can book online by clicking here or if you prefer you can print out a booking form and post it to us. Further information is available by emailing here.
Discounts are available for parish bookings and help can be provided for the unwaged.
