Resources for Cantors and Readers

One of the objects of the Society of Saint Gregory is ‘to assist with formation of ministers of the Liturgy in their understanding, application and celebration of the Liturgy. ’ This page makes available a set of new resources to support the singing of the Mass and in particular to support the ministry of Cantor. There are three videos and three handouts from the Society and a link to the useful Singing the Mass leaflet which is published by the Bishops’ Conference Liturgy Office.

The Society intends to produce one such set of resources each year, making them available in January/February. The next set, to be published in 2015, will support the ministry of Reader. If you have any comments on this first resource, or proposals for future resources, please contact their compiler and editor, Fr Allen Morris.
