Spiritus et Sponsa - 40 years on

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Spiritus et Sponsa - 40 years on

Anyone want to start a thread on an "examination of conscience" regarding the Liturgy? The Pope suggests it would be appropriate. All sorts of topics in his letter, which in my opinion is not only a good read but highly encouraging.

It is, indeed, a "good read", and commendably brief. It's a lucid translation too. Do read it if you haven't already done so. Perhaps, then, someone will take up Presbyter's suggestion.

Examination of conscience thread started! Click here.

But there is so much more that could be discussed from this... music, art, common prayer...

The Pope writes 'The Church's teaching must be able to "dare".'
Never been one to resist a "dare"! Can you?
