Mass setting by Gordon Rock/other Masses

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

One of the biggest problems with the latest translations and the associated rules and regulations is that they seem to have been devised with not the least regard for their practicability, and with zero resourcing of the necessary training to implement them.
The texts are all too often clunky and lacking in natural rhythm, leading to settings that are often less than memorable, or beyond the capabilities of many musicians. So people stick with what the know "works" for their community - Clapping Gloria etc.
