Updated guidelines for Religious Worship

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Updated guidelines for Religious Worship

Post by keitha »

The Guidelines for Places of Worship have been updated today - see: COVID-19: guidance for the safe use of places of worship and special religious services and gatherings during the pandemic.

Changes 'from' 28th March (which would normally on 29th March onwards). 'Small groups' are then allowed, but only if essential to the act of worship. No changes for Easter for us as I can't see how small groups are 'essential' to Catholic worship. Gradual relaxations as the national restrictions are lifted. Why, O why, can't they draft guidelines that are unambiguous? Is it too much to ask? Also, why couldn't 'they' have announced a week or so ago that this would happen?
