SSG Summer School 2019

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

SSG Summer School 2019

Post by MaryR »

If you always jump straight to the forum without looking at the rest of the website, you may have missed the information about our summer school at Worth School and Abbey, West Sussex.

Early bird discounts end on 1 May and so there are just a few days left to take advantage of lower rates. We have some fantastic speakers/leaders this year, including Fr Paul Turner and theologian and author from the USA and Dr Gemma Simmonds CJ, theologian and broadcaster as well as lots of old friends of the society. In this 90th anniversary year of the society, summer school offers a broad ranges of topics for workshops, with spiritual nourishment and practical skills on offer. Martin Foster (Liturgy Office) will direct the liturgy and Martin Barry (former Choirmaster at Salford Cathedral) is leading the music.

If you are local to Worth, day rates are available on request. Financial assistance may also be available for students or the unwaged through our McElligott Fund. Email bookings@ssg.org.uk for more information.

Further details of workshops and talks can be found at: https://www.ssg.org.uk/summer-school-2019/
