All Saints

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

All Saints

Post by Gwyn » Tue Oct 04, 2016 8:24 am

Hello brethren and sistren,

What's happening with All Saints this year? Is it to be moved to the nearest Sunday, or is it to be celebrated on November 1st?

Thanks,

Gwyn.

It is on the Tuesday as far as I can see. Unfortunately the Holy Day obligation seems less observed the more they have ben 'simplified.' People have got out of the habit....
