Heritage Open Days

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Heritage Open Days

Post by BobHayes »

The annual Heritage Open Days long weekend is 12-15 September this year. Heritage Open Days strike me as a good opportunity to reach out to the wider community in our local neighbourhood, invite people in and show something of what we believe and how we worship, in addition to the infrastructure and artefacts that people most associate with these events. Is anyone's church or cathedral planning to take part this year?

Our deanery has been doing something similar over the last few weeks. Each church has put on a display for a week end on a different aspect of the church's life, with parishioners on hand to explain.
