Newhall, Henry VIII and the SSG

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Newhall, Henry VIII and the SSG

Post by Nick Baty »

Those of you who have attended summer schools at Newhall, might be interested in a few minutes of Henry VIII: Patron or Plunderer. Forward to 27:20. Jonathan Foyle visits Newhall and explains the significance of the coat of arms in the chapel. (Later, Harry Christophers describes Henry as a mediocre composer.) Available until 9.30pm on Saturday.

Thanks, Nick. I also recall a fascinating episode of Time Team, based at Newhall School.
