Sunday working
I have been informed recently that I will have to work on Sundays.
Does anyone know the legal position on this?

Re: Andrew Carwood
Has Andrew C. composed any good psalm settings or hymn tunes that people like and sing?
Is he familiar with the repertoire that has developed over the past 40 years?

Sadly, yes. Not a patch on the 'Come, let us worship' in the old missalettes. Or Paul Inwood's (often requested) 'This is the wood of the cross'.

Where are we heading with liturgical formation?
The closure, or surpression of liturgy centres, and the silencing of liturgists (Paul Inwood; Gabe Huck et al) seems to be a growth industry in the Roman Church.

Today should we not be asking those who draft (revise) the Proper readings to consider their impact in a modern vernacular Parish Mass?
Yes.
Also, would it be better to have the Propers in sync with the 3 yr. cycle?

Rock music
(See Bishop Sample's letter over at Pray Tell ...)
Could we have Rock music at Mass?

(M)any takers for the old Mass?
