Oh dear. Some bad experiences there. It is a shame that there are any priests who cannot nurture people when grieving. No Gospel Acclamation I think the use of recorded music worked against this. If there was no musician etc in this parish, then they probably would have managed to sing the Gospel Acclamation and maybe a little bit of basic hymn singing. Obviously the Holy Spirit is female.
Jesus is male we are fairly sure.
And God is always the Father figure.
Therefore.
The Spirit must be female!
Or what happens to concepts of justice. (Never mind fairness and equality).
