@fisherpeter - I spent some time this year training a deacon to sing the Walker Exsultet, and can agree whole-heartedly with fisherpeter that it's a very fine setting - solemn tone, simple to learn, allows for choir/deacon-or-cantor interaction if you want and yet will allow the words to be proclaim...

At the Clifton Cathedral Vigil we did a simple sung response to the three 'do you believe' questions, then sang a piece of Cherubini ("Come to the waters") during the sprinkling. At the Family Mass the same simple response, but with a "River of God" sing-along song during the spr...
