There are two audio downloads - the O Salutaris and Tantum Ergo - of his here.

I had never heard of him - stunning, absolutely glorious music!

Thanks for mentioning him, Presbyter. It's such great music that the church needs.

Yes, CPDL is a REAL treasure trove - I also like to use this link:

Nice to be able to find music for choirs that can't always sing SATB!

Re: Choral Music for Catholics

Thanks, SC! The paper size issue was a real concern when deciding on a format. The good news is that we realized that Adobe Acrobat Reader and Preview (on a MAC) both will let you select "FIT TO PAGE SIZE) with some options, so using the universal file format we did - PDF, solves the problem of...

Choral Music for Catholics

Out of frustration with churches that illegally copy music and sing some rather horrid choices, I've created a Catholic Choirbook that is an attempt to feed the need of Catholic musicians to press PRINT on their parish copier, but legally. And the choice of music includes some great music. All of it...

Re: New/Revised Mass Settings - Across the Pond

Thanks - actually it was a quote of a reply to my post - but saw no reason to make the correction, after all, any publicity is better than none at all!

(I have made the correction now - musicus, moderator)

Re: New/Revised Mass Settings - Across the Pond

Yes, they are just there to assist those who need something to assist them in seeing where they are - but not to delineate or indicate any word accents. Possibly the audio files might help - and they are scheduled to be recorded over my a choir soon. It's really not for a choir or a director that is...

Re: New/Revised Mass Settings - Across the Pond

The bar markings in the chants are there like the quarter bars in chant, as an organizing feature for the people reading it rather than indicating strict time changes. It's a concession to assist people not used to playing and singing from a score without bar lines. Thanks for the welcome to the list!

Re: New/Revised Mass Settings - Across the Pond

Musica Sacra in the US has posted a number of settings, including my Martyr's Mass - most, if not all the settings, are available for parishes to print and use at no charge, at www.musicasacra.com.

There is a direct link to Martyr's Mass at www.basicchant.com.
