The Holy Father's death has been announced. He passed away at 07.35 this morning

So sad! What an extraordinary and lovely man he was! Those of us who were privileged to have met him can understand exactly why he was such an influence for good in the Church and in the world.

Did anyone identify any of the polyphony at the requiem? It wasn't listed in the order of service I was following....

Knowing something of how the Sistina works, and listening to the style, I would guess that much of it was homegrown.
