Goods and Services Offered:

The Society of Saint Gregory offers membership through annual subscription. This includes four quarterly issues of Music and Liturgy, the Society's journal. Subscription rates vary for UK, Europe and the rest of the world to cover the variation in postal charges. Subscriptions run for 12 months from the date of payment. Reduced rates are only available in the UK and apply to students and people over the national pensionable age.

Periodically, the Society publishes material to assist in liturgical formation and for music resource. Currently, the Society is selling Baptised With Fire, a collection of music for Eucharistic celebrations. This is offered as a music book and as a CD.

The McElligott Fund exists to support students to the annual Summer School in order to study Liturgy and Music. This enables the Society to provide assisted places at its schools. Dom Bernard McElligott, after whom the fund is named, was a founder of the Society in 1929.

Returns/refund policy

Refunds for membership applications
You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of placing your order with us.
If you cancel your membership order, you will have your payment returned within thirty days.
Refunds for Books and CDs, back issues of Music and Liturgy
Personal customers
You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of your contract with us, or seven days of receipt of goods (whichever is the longer).
If you cancel your order, you will have your payment returned within thirty days of you returning hardcopy material to us at the address below.
Such return is at your own expense and the goods must be returned in good condition suitable for resale.
Business customers
Refunds for business purchases will be given at the discretion of the Trustees.

Transaction Currencies

All transactions are conducted in £ Sterling (GBP)

Delivery Policy

The Society aims to dispatch all orders within three working days of the transaction being cleared. This is typically three to five working days from when you place your order. Overseas orders are dispatched airmail. European and UK orders are dispatch by first class post. You will be advised by e-mail of dispatch of goods.

Order Acceptance

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and the Society of Saint Gregory will take place either
i) on the dispatch of the Products ordered.
or
ii) on dispatch of the letter of welcome in the case of a Service ordered (for example for annual SSG membership or Summer School bookings)
The Society of Saint Gregory reserves the right not to accept an order, in which case you will be notified by e-mail.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
* The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
* Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
* The identification of a pricing or product description error
